Afghanistan Famine and Earthquake Relief

On 21st June, a devastating earthquake hit eastern Afghanistan. It’s reportedly killed over 1000 people and injured at least 1,500. Over 24 million people – more than half of the Afghan population – need humanitarian assistance to survive. 95% of people don’t have enough to eat and a million children under the age of five are at risk of dying over the next three months. More than 8 million people are on the brink of famine
Our brothers and sisters in Afghanistan are suffering.

Zakariya Masjid will be collecting donations tomorrow (Friday 1st July) during Jumu’ah to help with the urgent relief effort.

Please support with your generous donations.
