ANNUAL DAY TRIP TO LONDON ZOO & REGENTS PARK MOSQUE

Assalaam alaykum,

Dear Parents,

Alhumdulillah, our annual day trip has been organised to visit the London Zoo and Regents Park Masjid insha-Allah for all Madrasah students (boys & girls). The trip is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 5th July 2025 insha-Allah.

🚌 Trip Details:

• Meeting Point: Zakariya Masjid
• Meeting Time: 8:30 AM (to allow sufficient time to prepare for departure)
• Departure Time: 9:00 AM
• Departure from London: 6:00 PM prompt (from the designated meeting point)

⚠️ Important Notes:

• This is STRICTLY on a first come, first serve basis as there will be limited spaces.
• Places will only be booked on receipt of a completed form.
• Those required to pay, must make full payment when completing the form and WhatsApp proof of payment to 07480 490011
• All madrasah children without an adult will be supervised by our Ustadhs/Ustadhas.
• Please ensure your child’s footwear is suitable for walking.
• Children are not required to wear uniform but must adhere to the Islamic dress code:
  • Boys should bring with them their thobe/Jubba.
  • Girls must be in Hijab and Abaya.
  • Mothers and sisters joining us must ensure they are in hijab and Abaya and must maintain modest dressing at all times.

💰 Pricing:

We’re pleased to offer subsidised rates to make this trip affordable for all:

• All Madrasah Students: £10 each
• Adults (subsidised rate): £40 each
• Adults (low-income subsidised rate): £20 each

🍽️ Lunch and Refreshments:

Regents Park Masjid has a canteen, however we cannot guarantee that this facility will be available on the day of travel. We strongly recommend that your child brings a packed lunch with food and plenty of drinks. Alternatively, they should be provided with sufficient spending money to meet their needs for the duration of the day. We will not be responsible for your child’s money. Note that the madrasah will not be providing any food or drinks.
